Emotion

This was a moment on the trail I will never forget. After hiking through trees all day and coming out to this vista I was just overjoyed and speechless. The mountain I had been dreaming about for 6 months was now staring me down although I still had 40 or so miles to get to her. This picture is titled Emotion simply for that reason. A mix of happiness that I was finally there and that I was so close to the end but at the same time torn for the same reason. I didn't want it to end, I never wanted to stop hiking. Katahdin truly is "The Greatest Mountain" standing there in all her glory.
